How does Alaska CHARR Educational Fund partner with the community?

The Alaska CHARR Educational Fund along with the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation offers programming for community-based organizations and other entities to help grow our industry using the populations that need support and resources the most.

How it works:
Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) partner with NRAEF and State Restaurant Associations (SRA's) to provide training in six work-ready competency areas defined by the hospitality industry. These competencies are designed to help participants acquire the skills, discipline, and confidence to secure and maintain employment. The SRA connect individuals to local employers, while CBOs offer support services services to remove any barriers to success.
